Aloha surfers and beachgoers! Welcome to your Hawaii surf zone forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Honolulu. Let's dive into the epic waves coming your way!

East facing shores, watch out for elevated surf due to those strong trade winds, but fear not as heights are coming down below the High Surf Advisory level. Keep an eye out for a medium-period northwest swell peaking Tuesday, which will mix things up nicely for the north facing shores.

Starting off on the beautiful island of Kauai, tonight expect 4-6 foot waves on the north facing shores and solid 6-8 footers on the east side. Tomorrow, it's looking quite consistent, so get out there and catch some waves before the winds pick up in the afternoon.

Jumping over to Oahu, similar story with 4-6 footers up north and solid 5-7 footers on the east. Monday is shaping up to be a great day with very high UV index, so don't forget your sunscreen!

Heading to Maui, expect 3-5 foot waves on the north and 6-8 foot barrels on the east tonight. Monday will be sunny with some scattered showers, perfect for catching waves in the morning and chilling on the beach in the afternoon.

And down at Big Island's Windward and Southeast regions, 3-5 on the north, 6-8 on the east tonight, and some small but fun waves for the south. Showers are likely, so bring your rain gear if you're hitting the waves early tomorrow.

Big Island Leeward, watch for 1-3 footers on the west and south shores tonight. Tomorrow will start sunny and turn mostly cloudy, but conditions will be perfect for a beach day.

Just remember, surf heights vary from beach to beach, so always stay alert, especially near rip currents. And for the latest beach safety info, check out hawaiibeachsafety.com.
