Aloha surfers and beachgoers! Welcome to your Hawaii Surf Zone Forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Honolulu. Let's dive into the exciting wave action happening in our beautiful Hawaiian waters!

Grab your boards because we've got some good news for the north and west-facing shores. The current long-period northwest swell is calming down but fear not, a reinforcing northwest swell is on the horizon, reviving the surf to near-advisory levels from late Sunday through early next week. And hey, another northwest swell reinforcement might just push those waves to advisory levels by Wednesday. Get ready for some serious action, folks!

Now, if you're hanging out on the south shore, expect tiny surf conditions, except for a slight boost from Sunday through Tuesday with a new long-period south swell making a cameo. And over on the east shore, things are looking pretty chill with small surf, but we might see a slight uptick in waves during the middle to latter part of the upcoming week. Keep an eye out, you never know when the waves might surprise you!

For tonight in Kauai, expect mostly sunny skies turning into scattered showers later on. Surf heights ranging from 7-10 feet on the North Facing shores and 5-7 feet on the West Facing shores. So, get ready to ride those waves! And tomorrow, Kauai will be looking at high temperatures in the upper 70s with east winds to accompany your surfing adventures.

As for Oahu, tonight will be partly cloudy with scattered showers, perfect for an evening session. Surf will be in the 7-10 feet range for the North and West Facing shores. Tomorrow, catch the sun with isolated showers and surf ranging from 10-14 feet on the North Facing shores. Don't forget your sunscreen!

Over in Maui, expect scattered showers tonight before transitioning to mostly sunny weather tomorrow. Surf will be in the 7-10 feet range on the North Facing shores, bringing some fun waves your way. And on the Big Island, get ready for some showers tonight but be prepared for mostly sunny weather tomorrow. Surf heights ranging from 5-7 feet on the North Facing shores, so make the most of those waves!

Remember, surf heights can vary, and rip currents can be sneaky, so be cautious and stay safe out there. Check out the latest beach safety info at hawaiibeachsafety.com before hitting the waves. Stay stoked and catch you out there, surfers!
