Six months after the fight with Marco Antonio Barrera, Pacquiao challenged Juan Manuel Márquez, who at the time held both the WBA and IBF featherweight titles. The fight took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, on May 8, 2004.

On March 15, 2008, in a rematch against Juan Manuel Márquez, called "Unfinished Business," Pacquiao won via split decision. The fight was held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. With the victory, Pacquiao won the WBC, The Ring and lineal super-featherweight titles, making him the first Filipino and Asian to become a four-division world champion, a fighter who won world titles in four different weight divisions.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Márquez III, was a boxing championship bout for the WBO welterweight title at a catchweight of 144 lbs. The bout took place on November 12, 2011, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada and was distributed by HBO PPV.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Márquez IV, was a professional boxing match. The winner of this bout would win a commemorative belt by the WBO known as "Champion of the Decade." This was the fourth and final meeting between Pacquiao and Márquez. The bout was held on December 8, 2012, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada and drew 1.15 million pay-per-view buys.
