Unilad says a British woman sued her ex-husband, Tim Belson, for being ageist and for leaving her for a younger woman. Eleanor Belson, age 61, says Tim, age 72, ended their marriage because of her age. She also claimed he retaliated against her by firing her from her job. A court awarded Eleanor $11,239 for the unfair dismissal. The court dismissed Eleanor's ageist claim because Tim's new girlfriend is older than her.
