Ellen Harvey, harness racing's PR wizard and Marty Irby, a top Washington DC Lobbyist who is also the CEO of the Animal Wellness Action joins Freddie, Trade and Bob on this week's Harness Racing Alumni Show. Ellen discusses the importance of her rule change proposal that she has submitted to the USTA. She’s requesting for them to include freeze-branding along with the addition of micro-chips in registering horses. She believes that horses can be more easily identified and rescued if they end up on the horrific slaughter pipeline. Marty gives an up-date on the amendment to end horses being shipped or exported for slaughter that will be included in the new Infrastructure package.
