GPGT Founder/Editor in Chief Valencya Thompson talks about starting this publication, obstacles along the way and a BIG announcement for other businesses.

Bio: Valencya Thompson is most proud of being the wife of Jerrell Thompson and mother to Justice Thompson and Broughton Thompson! Valencya is a book publisher, ghostwriter, preacher, public speaker, workshop presenter, author, playwright, magazine editor, journalist, songwriter, poet, motivator, and more! Valencya owns, alongside her husband, Write The Vision Creative Works (TM), LLC (WTVCW); a Christian Media, Production, & Education Company. WTVCW is the home of Good People Great Things (GPGT) Magazine, of which Valencya is the Editor-In-chief. GPGT is available at www.goodpeoplegreatthings.co

Additionally, Valencya operates with Jerrell the Fertility Hope Ministry @fertilityhope, which is near and dear to their hearts, as they encourage those who have struggled with infertility, pregnancy, and/or infant loss, being over-comers of three miscarriages themselves. In the spring of 2015, WTVCW successfully launched its first stage production, "2 Sides" written by Valencya Thompson (script & songs) in Atlanta, GA. "2 Sides" was successfully produced in Atlanta again in 2016.

Valencya Thompson has completed studies towards a Master of Divinity and holds three degrees. She successfully obtained her Specialist of Education and Master of Education degrees in School Psychology from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston.
