The IRS is the motor that keeps the Federal government running--and it's sputtering badly. Its computers are antiquated, it can't fill its job openings, and very few people calling the IRS for help get what they need. If the IRS were a car engine, it would have been junked long ago. Still, Congress insists that they can fix the IRS with billions of dollars of your money. We have a better idea. Scrap the income tax, and with it, the IRS.
