Today we're going to explore the depths of God the Father's great love for you through familiar parable of two sons: a young and older one Jesus calls it. Many refer to it as the parable the prodigal son.

Listen, all of us have sinned and fallen short away from God in our own ways, but no matter where sin takes us, the path back home is always the same. And at the end is a Father, longing to embrace us.

Today you're going to discover just how tender God's heart is toward you.

At one point you may have turned your back and walked away from God, but God is still watching over you and he's waiting for you to come back to Him with His arms open wide.

God is not mad at you. That's a lie of the enemy. God so loved you that he gave his only beloved son Jesus Christ to die for you. He's not mad and is not angry with you because he sees you through the great mercy and grace that he bestows upon you in Christ Jesus. Hoping that you would accept his great offer in terms come to him.

Today that great love of God and his mercy is shown in the parable of the two sons.

Since this is a parable lets recognize first who the two sons represent. In Luke 15:1-3 you find out who it is that Jesus is speaking to these three parables in Luke 15. “Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” So He spoke this parable to them, saying:”
Luke 15:1-3

The younger son represents the tax collector and the centers that are near to hear Him.

The Older Son Represents the Pharisees and Scribes That Were Complaining to Him.

Thus, the Prodigal Son teaches that God loves you His child. God does not give up on you becaue you sinned. “For this is how God loved you: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‬

To the contrary, God is always waiting for you to repent and return. Humanity may violate God’s covenant, but God remains faithful. Jews knew that God cared about the sinful; were that not the case, there’d be no reason to send prophets to Israel, or Jonah to Nineveh. Or Christ to save the world.

Lord Jesus Christ come into my life, change my heart and mind, Please forgive all my sins, give me a new Heart and Mind and a new life. I want you to be the Center of My Life, O make you My LORD and Savior. I believe in my heart that God has raised You from the dead, and I am Saved and Now Have Eternal Life with you. In Jesus Name. (Romans ‭10:9‬)
