2020 is fast approaching and there is a lot more that people are worried about other than the presidential election. Some of the main issues concerning 2020 other than the election are the issues of Gerrymandering and The US Census. Now, if you are thinking “what the flying f**k are you talking about?,” I am about to break it down for you. Last year, The Trump administration attempted to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census. Many said this was unconstitutional and just a ploy for Trump to find out where undocumented citizens are, so he can round them up. This issue was brought in front of The US Supreme Court and they struck it down, saying that Trump could not add the question to the Census. In the same instance however, they did say that States Legislatures had the right to redraw the congressional district maps and gerrymander their states based on the results of that census.
