Maybe you're a hardcore football fan that loves a good defensive battle. Maybe yesterday was your ideal game. When the Rams punt on their first eight possessions, for most fans, there's little that's exciting about that game. If it wasn't clear before yesterday, it should be clear now; Bill Belichick is the greatest coach to ever do it. Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post describes the ways in which Bill Belichick outcoached Sean McVay and the Rams. A lot is being made about what happens to the Rams after this Super Bowl loss, and maybe McVay can figure out how to get the team back, but with a Seahawks team in the playoffs and improving, and a 49ers team that's also taken major steps forward, it's not going to be easy for them to win the division handily going forward.
