Believe it or not, the baseball season is in fact not over yet. One interesting note is that Felix Hernandez officially became a United States citizen yesterday. It goes without saying that even though the M's haven't been great for most (all) of his time here, he's managed to make an enormous impact on the sports community here, and it's great to see that he's getting the chance to become a citizen. The arena deal is approved, and it should be a time for celebration, but it wouldn't be a day at the city council without a slap in the face to Sonics fans. Ian is so exasperated with the city council that he's not planning on moving back, despite growing up here.
