Today Chase explored Joseph's path to forgiveness for his brothers. Joseph tested his brothers but not with retaliation in mind but with reconciliation as the goal. Jesus has called us all to forgive, forgiveness takes one person; but reconciliation takes two people. Joseph was able to test his brothers without malace because he was after reconcilliaton and needed his brothers to prove that their character had actually changed.
