I don't know any reason to doubt Brian Lambert's story, and it seems very possible that she could have just slid further into homelessness and died in total obscurity. I only wonder why Brian Lambert doesn't seem to show a strong curiosity about what happened to her after he last had contact with her. And also, did he try to do more to help her get professional help for her mental state outside of Scientology after he had left it, which he said was thanks to her.
