Few people are skilled at resolving disagreements. They confuse conflict with fighting. Yet conflict is simply two forces in opposition. Fighting is defined with such words as "violent, combat, hostile encounter". There are advantages to having disagreements with others and the process of finding resolution to our differences can be highly beneficial if we avoid making some common mistakes.
