On this month’s FAIR PLAY Zoe George and her guest co-presenter Bronwyn Easterbrook-Smith focus on rugby and look towards the Rugby League World Cup… Kiwi ferns vice-captain Georgia Hales drops in to discuss the competition, their preparation and not having a home ground advantage. Rugby Union is enjoying phenomenal growth globally and the Kiwis have had lots to celebrate as the Black Ferns captured their sixth ‘Nancy’ this summer in Ireland. Black Fern Kendra Cocksedge played a big part in the success of the team and she talks about what really happened in the dressing room during the Rugby World Cup Final as well as the growth of the sport especially among girls in New Zealand. She also reveals the stroy behind how and why they nicknamed the World Cup 'Nancy'.
