That was good. Very carefully I left a sedentary lifestyle.... my Neurologist said my BP and cholesterol was so high if I didnt immediately change that I was going to also need a caregiver to help change my diaper each day. My goals over the past 4.5 yrs didn't revolve around hitting a particular weight or distance or speed, it was focused on complete change of diet and trying to get outside to do a mile or more daily. Even though I had widest treadmill on the market, I was bucked off due to not staying centered. Since winter 19-20, I've been outside daily regardless of temp or precipitation; I dress accordingly.... some of my most memorable jogs were while it rained, I had fewer people to maneuver around at the park, I had a much cooler outing. I was a previously a 20cyear cigarette smoker and beer drinker but finally able to go from winded after a 1/4 Mike, to not winded after 5 miles at all.i wanted to be able to jog a continuous 5k without slowing to a walk before trying a 5k event. I've now done a couple of those and even though I finish last I've had a niece and a school mate make plans to join me for one since I had inspired them with my progress. I recommend MapMyFitness App, and Stretching Exercises App, and Buttocks Workout App and in hindsight, should've done the stretching and Buttocks first before jogging at all and would've fallen less often. By paying $ 31 /YR, I get to keep all my run or walk totals/speeds/route maps, etc...

Great information. The benefit of exercise has not only helped me physically but has helped with mental health and resillience in dealing with any setbacks.
