You're probably familiar with the old cliche attributed to Benjamin Franklin:"If you fail to plan you are planning to fail!" Individuals don't heed this advice in equal measure. Some take it to heart and develop a roadmap for themselves from which to live by. Others don't plan at all and their lives are directed by whichever way the wind blows. Well, the same is true of nation-states. Some of the current geopolitical power players have a precise plan for the next 30 years while others don't even appear to have a coherent plan beyond tomorrow. In today's episode we take a closer look at how the heavyweights are preparing to secure their dominance over the long-haul... or not.
