Solo episode: This episode is candid and raw. Ain’t no music or code-switching today. Nor is there any editing. You gon hear these planes fly!! I was in my happy place, my patio.
I just wanted to talk in a real way. Reading about Sha-Asia Washington prompted this episode. I realize that part of the conversation that’s missing in this maternal health crisis is helping people understand what medical negligence looks and sounds like and what to do when they are faced with it. We can talk statistics all day. That rarely translates to the everyday person walking into the hospital. So in this episode I share what it looks and sounds like so that you can be empowered to have your own back when you’re in medical spaces.
