Make a real difference

Act 6, 1-7
Multiplied

Widows were neglected in the daily administration

"Whom they set before the apostles and when they had prayed they laid their hands on them "

This internal church bickering is interesting that it is the first thing mentioned, must have been a real situation to be mentioned first, food distribution

Acts 1:8

Acts 2:38-41

3000 souls added that day, multiplying

Acts 4:4 , 5000 men believed

Acts 5:14 multitudes added

Multitudes bringing sick out, the church was growing, there was true believers being added

So much faith that even the shadow of Peter was sought

There was external pressure against the church , yet the people wanted them free, the multitude grew

Appreciative of all we give to the church, so it flows well. So the foundation is here for the church to grow.

"And the word of God increased "

Acts 8:1

A great persecution at that time against the church

Most of us will not be preaching about God to large groups

Not impossible, but not expected

How do you make a real difference, one on one

Relationship with individuals, simple things, one on one, sometimes it takes time

You can make a real difference with one person

Trust in God to do great things, great wonders

Acts 8:27 the angel of the Lord spoke

He arose and went ....

The one on one relationship he had with the Eunuch resulted in him being baptized

We can share Jesus Christ , share the salvation message

Honor God, one one with people

There is a reason. We meet people, God gives us opportunity to bless people , trust and faith .

God loves them , we can have that conversation with them

We have our testimonies

God has been good to everyone of us

We are all leaders , we have relationships that we can think about, we should be able to talk to people

We can reach others one on one , we can multiply that way


Acts 8:39-40 Philip was caught up and away

He continued his journey, we can continue our journey
