Episode 78 of Waves Of The Bay culminated a very long but rewarding day for us. Our very own DJ Spaceship had the honor of being the maestro for the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival and he did his thang! We had to discuss the magnitude of the situation, the evolution of our craft and also highlights of the event. We also spoke with Theo Lane for the Mother's Day Weekend edition of Waves Of The Bay. Theo is an amazing vocalist and writer and his music has appeared on our show many times during our run. He linked up with one of our favorites, Khalea Lynee from The Voice, to create an anthem for the Mothers (produced by Ryan Copeland Music). We debuted "Momma We Love You" on the show and got to pick his brain about the significance of the song and the content.
