It's time for another episode of Two Dudes With Attitudes: A Wrestling Podcast. In today's episode, the two dudes (@shootingstarPRS and @mywrestlingopinion on TikTok) are back on hand to break down the week that was in WWE. On Smackdown, the Two Dudes discuss the 25th Anniversary of Edge in the WWE as he ended the show with what is, presumably, his final match against Sheamus. They break this match down and discuss whether this was his final act in the WWE and they talk about what the future may have in store for the Rated R Superstar. They also discuss the LA Knight/The Miz/Austin Theory segment that determined the No. 1 Contender for the US Championship. They talk Charlotte and Bianca beating Iyo Sky and Bayley and why it made no sense.

On Monday Night Raw, Judgment Day took another loss as Finn Balor was pinned by Cody Rhodes in the six-man tag team match main event. Why does Judgment Day keep losing? Why is Monday Night RAW on a wash/rinse/repeat cycle? They discuss the Becky Lynch/Trish Stratus promo battle for their steel cage match at Payback. Are they still interested in this feud? Do they even want this match? They also break down the Intercontinental Championship match between Chad Gable and Gunther. It was certainly match of the night and an impressive victory for Gable, but a countout?

On NXT from Tuesday, August 22, Carmelo Hayes defeated Wes Lee in an impressive bout to retain his NXT Championship and Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley lost their mixed tag match to Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria. Other than that, the rest of Heat Wave was very uneventful but it was the best show of the week in WWE.
