For the 500th episode of The Projection Booth, Skizz Cyzyk and Jeff Meyers join Mike to discuss Terry Gilliam's Brazil. A film with as fascinating a story behind and in front of the camera, Brazil tells the story of Sam Lowry (Jonathan Pryce), an office drone who dreams of flying away with the love of his life (Kim Greist).

This episode includes the second part of our interview with Michael Palin (the first part will be heard later in 2021).

As always a hugely enjoyable show from a podcast I adore. I did have multiple issues with the criticisms within though. I don't think Sam sees himself as a hero. He dreams of being one which is different. I don't see him being selfish as a problem. That just makes him a more believable three dimensional hero. I don't see Jill falling in love with him as problematic as he shows her he's a good man with a good heart and it doesn't matter that he doesn't help people until she tells him to because he's lot a unconvincing perfect hero he's a real flawed man.
