Jeff Apploff has produced dozens of hit tv shows featuring Hollywood’s biggest stars. Learn how this high school dropout, with zero TV experience, became a major player.
Jeff Apploff, President and CEO of Apploff Entertainment, doesn’t just make television. He makes cutting-edge, groundbreaking television that’s changing the nature of how people consume entertainment around the world.

In 2007 Jeff launched his first show, Don’t Forget the Lyrics with Wayne Brady. Today, there are over 25 different versions of this show in over 25 countries, with over 500 episodes in France alone. It’s been hosted by Sugar Ray, Mark McGrath, and the newest version with Niecy Nash. But he didn’t stop there.
Jeff also created this extremely innovative Beat Shazam where contestants race the app Shazam to identify songs. It’s been running for over 5th seasons and is hosted by Oscar and Grammy winner Jamie Foxx.
Jeff is also the executive producer of Mental Samurai, hosted by Rob Lowe, which is now a global phenomenon. This show is like Jeopardy on a roller coaster.
Jeff’s newest show is called The Wheel, which was brought over from the UK and is hosted by the hilarious Michael McIntyre.
