Hosts Russ Johns and Liz Lawless will interview Author Ron Mumford about his Christian Fantasy Trilogy Wayne’s Angel, Betwixt, and Z-Gen: the Last Generation. It is a story about the spiritual battle for a man's soul and finding true love if he fights his demons and wins. In book 2, the characters continue to battle even more evil, and in book three, in the final installment of Wayne’s Angel Trilogy, the sons of good and evil meet in a battle that will shake the world.
Ron Mumford is the author of one non-fiction book, Finding Your Soul Mate, God’s Way, one action thriller novel, Gray Justice, a screenplay entitled For Every Child (How Santa Claus Got His Elves), and a Fantasy trilogy entitled Wayne’s Angel, Betwixt, Z-Gen. He is the Publisher at 3rd Coast Books, LLC, a hybrid publisher specializing in Books-to-Film with many Film/TV contracts.
Mumford was a Journalism major at the University of North Texas, worked at two small newspapers as a Sports Editor and Associate Editor at a National Trade Magazine, and has written freelance articles for several newspapers and magazines. Later, after being drafted into the U.S. Army, he was an information specialist (Army Combat Correspondent/Photographer), receiving two Bronze Stars for his service. He also wrote for Army Times Stars & Stripes.
Mumford started his own business as a Literary Agent in Houston, Texas. He went to New York and Hollywood to pitch his clients’ work and gained film industry knowledge. He took one of his companies public on NASDAQ in the mid-80s and was later a licensed financial consultant with Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch before starting 3rd Coast Books.
Mumford is a Bible teacher/Life Group leader at Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery, TX, his church home. He is also an avid bass fisherman. The last thing he learned is, IF YOU QUIT, YOU LOSE! Never quit writing, and never give up hope. Someone will come along and send the elevator down.
