Richard Glennon gives the detail's of the incident. Three home invaders broke into a home located at 19000 Bainter Ave. at 4am on Wednesday. They assaulted & stole the homeowner's personal property at gunpoint. Jose Talavera(19), & Maritza Lopez Perez(19) both of Sunnyvale, CA. were arrested. Also a 17 year old youth from East Palo Alto, CA. whose name is being withheld due to his age has been arrested as well. It is still unclear if the homeowner knew his home invaders. The owner also claims there were four males & one female. After the robbery the home invaders stole the homeowner's Mercedes-Benz SUV. The injured homeowner called 911 from a neighbor's house & they were apprehended 8 hours later at the Vintage Faire Mall in Modesto, CA. by the Regional Auto Theft Task Force. The third person arrested was not formally identified as a defendant. A semiautomatic pistol and a revolver were recovered by police after the vehicle was searched. The home invaders are facing felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, kidnapping, and vehicle theft, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
