..And this keeps blessing me everytime I listen again and again. It never gets old, because you are never completely immuned from the daily challenges of bonds. The consistent call to help another through a gifting, most not because we are led, the obligations and expectations within main stream ministry etc...one time you think you have worked around it, the next you are fully submerged in it before you realize...but it gets clearer the blindness that comes with tranference in my daily experiences as I strive to get free. Help us Lord as we walk into deeper understanding .

....continued.... That's what "the work of the cross " is, to face issues in life head on with God by your side and you trust Him no matter what. Faith will see you through.

Edward this was a very profitable word and excellent teaching. Satan works around the clock to deter not only new christians, but the seasoned christians as well. Over the years my thinking or paradigm has changed dramatically. As a new christian many years ago, I truly believed that doing for people in the church, outside the church, family, friends, community was the christian thing to do. Having three small children didn't stop me, I felt an "obligation" to do and do. The day came when the Lord showed me I had lost sight of Him. Now that I look back, doing for many of those people simply postponed perhaps what the Lord wanted to teach them and me; they would bypass a lesson in life by expecting someone to do it for them and for me, well, God wanted me to get out of the way. Granted, we all need a helping hand at times, however; hardships that come our way are usually a test from God. Are we going to learn to trust Him, have faith that He will bring us through this situation, or continue to use a band aid from whoever will supply us with one or in my case, give them a box full! This is how transference takes root. The day came that I felt used. Had no one to blame but myself, and felt guilty if I didn't try and help. That's the way Satan works. Layer after layer, it gets deeper. A little anger flairs up, but no one knows... because I would look like a terrible person, unchristian like. As the years go on, that person may turn on you, especially if you left the church, then you will be required to forgive them if you're on the path to sonship. I can speak out of experience that if you hold on to unforgiveness that person will control you. Yes, that's what I said. That's transference, Satan's plan has worked. That's how subtle the enemy works. You can be a thousand miles away from that person, but the thoughts don't go away in most cases. unless you escape with medication, denial, or believe the lie that you have forgiven them, when in all honesty you have not. If you don't deal with it, it will eat you up. Sickness is a good attention getter, headaches, and the list goes on. It's all in the spirit, that person is not around you anymore. God know how to get our attention if we are truly on a path to go higher. What is the work of the cross? I didn't know what to call it, but I don't like to escape reality, would rather face it head on. That's what "the work of the cross to face issues in life head on
