In Episode 16 of the Art of Waging Small Business Warfare podcast, we bring you up to speed with Guerrillapreneur News, news about the sharing, gig and circular loop economies that is expected to grow to $335B by 2025.

First, we discuss Amazon's acquit ion of Ring Doorbell. In the podcast, we speculate that the acquisition will enable Amazon to leverage the facial and identity recognition capabilities built into it's ReKognition Amazon Web Services. I also discuss how Amazon will be able to use this technology to enable its partner's to securely access your house. Second, I discuss how "Social Credits" will KILL God! In 2014, the Chinese government announced that it was developing a system of social credit or a tracking system to rate the reputations of individuals, businesses and government officials. If you have seen the Season Three, Episode 1 called "NoseDive" where the characters are rated on every social transaction, including how they treat the coffee shop baristas. In the episode, the Social Credit system determines where you live, the interest rate of your loans, where you work and ultimately who your friends are. Based on where China is in the development of their Social Credit system, I believe that we are not too far away from having an "all seeing digital eye" follow, track and score our every move. How will this kill God? Prior to the digital "all seeing eye," we created analog versions -- Santa Claus and God. Both Santa and God keep track of our actions and rate us naughty or nice. In the end, Santa determines whether we get presents and God holds the keys to heaven. However, if Social Credits start to serve the same purpose, do we need God? Third, I ask the question, "Did the 70's TV comedy Three's Company Foreshadow the future Housing Market? I ask that questions because the Gig Economy has created jobs that no longer make it easy for young workers to buy real estate. In the comedy, Three's Company, followed the lives of three young adults who lived together in a Santa Monica, CA apartment. In 2016, I predicted that the future of real estate will consist of fractional ownership of property by platonic strangers (Gig Workers) who want to build equity. Fourth, I predict that fast-food restaurant kitchens will eventually disappear as cloud-kitchens emerge as the efficient Gig model for the future. Finally, I provide a list of the top paying Gig jobs available today for contract workers.
