About a week or two before we slid into our second lockdown we were able to wrap up our double header of family episodes we were lucky to be able to head on over to Mike's place and record with both our families together and watch "Cats." An uncompromised nightmarish vision with only a hint of a story and a strong sense of #uncannyvalley from start to finish. Between Mike's partner, Thuy from Keilor, looking up what the plot was and some notes from #catsthemovie Super-Fan, Simon from the Video Store, we were able to parse together some semblance of a story. Maybe if there was 1/3 less singing and they replaced that with dialogue that explained the story and characters this would be slightly more watchable...

The only reason Mike's kids wanted to watch this was to see Taylor Swift, whom Reuben had never heard any of her music let alone know what she looked like. We remarked on Jennifer Hudson's incredible performance and director, #tomhooper’s career.
