People can be downright mean and there is the common phenomenon of churches and other organizations welcoming known abusers with open arms. The question is, at what point is it proper to cut someone off, to avoid the toxic person? It turns out the Bible actually has a lot to say about it, and one doesn't have to be a Christian to live by these principles.
