TW: In this episode, we discuss a suicide. If you feel suicidal, please reach out, the world is a much better place with you in it. You matter!, Laura, Krysta and Dean discuss the 1945 sinking of the USS Indianapolis. But first, Krysta gives us a very brief history of boats and ships with her weird facts! Then Dean discusses the kamikaze that hurt the Indianapolis which sent it to Pearl Harbor for repairs.It is there she is assigned the mission to deliver parts for the A Bomb that will be dropped on Hiroshima. Laura finds out the bomb was codenamed 'Fat Man' and has some sharp words about it. From there they go to join the USS Idaho in Layte gulf but before they can get there they are torpedoed by a Japanese submarine and thus begins four days of hell where they fights sharks, salt poisoning, dehydration and fatigue while they wait for rescue.
