The New York Rangers are the number 1 team in the NHL! Back-to-back wins against Tampa, the reigning Stanley Cup Champs, and then beating McDavid and the Oilers soundly at the Garden has the Rangers riding a 3 game winning streak. With Artemi Panarin on the Covid list Ryan Strome, Barclay Goodrow, and Alexis Lafreniere have stepped up in his absence. This week we are joined by former New York Ranger Matt Carey. Matt started this season playing in Germany but this past week he signed with the Carolina Hurricanes affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals. Matt talks about his college career at St. Lawrence, making his NHL debut and scoring a goal in his second NHL game with the Chicago Blackhawks, his time in the New York Rangers organization, and about his time overseas. Really fun conversation with some great stories!
