geographically we are similar in ways to the US , deserts , rainforests , beaches , snowfields , just we have 25 million people in a country of similar size to the US

we dont have much in the way of gangs here , had a little trouble with the odd bikey gang but really gangs arent much of an issue here

altho illegal weapons are still out there , last year here in Victoria they had a gun amnesty and people handed in an additional 40,000 guns

i think there were 35 killed and 23 wounded in that one , before the gun buyback there were 11 mass shootings , since the buyback there hasnt been any

no people just handed them in for a buyback price , its very difficult to own one here you have to be a member of a club and have evidence that you attend the club and use the weapon there , if not your licience is revoked

and thats it Do people talk about wanting disclosure to enforce their own beliefs to those around them , if you believe then you believe , there is a plethora of evidence out there , we already have citizen disclosure imo
