Prostaglandin analogue is used in glaucoma treatment 4. Inflammation thickens the oil that provides the eye with moisture and clogs the glands. 5. Many over the counter serums contain a synthetic version of prostaglandin analogue isopropyl cloprostenate and claim to have no active medical ingredient. The synthetic version causes the same damage.
