Sluggo, majority of the laws in Amerikkka have been put in place since Reconstruction to stifle Black Progress. I would go further as to state these laws are holdovers from the days of colonial Amerikkka. These focused on financial and real estate aspects that undermined Black people from becoming landowners and from creating concentrated wealth which leads to businesses, banks, and social services.
