Originally from Detroit, DeRomano was born into a family of drug dealers and prostitutes. Her father was a pimp and her mother was a sex worker. DeRomano was placed into foster care after her father went to prison for murder. Her mother, also an alcoholic, was unable to care for her. DeRomano’s bio reads like a bad horror novel.
