Grey and B_Don are here for another episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast! This week is a bit of a downer as we go over all the big injuries from last week. A moment of silence for all the fantasy baseball owners of Spencer Strider, Shane Bieber, Eury Perez, and Trevor Story.
After the injury talk, we move on to take an early look at the player rater for 2024. Podcast favorites Spencer Steer, Mookie Betts, and Adolis Garcia are off to great starts. What do we make of some of the others like Michael Conforto, Jarren Duran, and Tyler O’Neill, among others?
Some more interesting names come up when we turn our attention to the pitching player rater. Brady Singer’s sweeper is yielding nice results early on. Are the Reid Detmers, Garrett Crochet, and Shota Imanaga breakouts underway? There’s also some less known names such as Cody Bradford and Ronel Blanco. Some pitchers are moving from the bullpen to starting jobs, and maybe there’s something to that adjustment that is yielding positive results.
