This week the guys RETURN TO THE COCA-COLA TRAIL with, author, Larry Jorgensen! This marks the second time Larry has entertained the guys with stories he's come across while researching the backstories of how Coca-Cola has reach SO MANY lives throughout history!
Larry talks about so many different ways the famous soft drink has rooted itself into the history of the country, along with the world! Marking so many events, Coca-Cola has ingrained itself as a big piece of Americana and made a mark on the world.
Sam asks the question of whether or not the second book was "leftovers" from the original book or if Larry just got so many "new" stories to get the Return written, and it was a combo answer! Richey then throws out the question about A DIFFERENT book Larry has written about Hot Wells, Louisiana! Larry didn't disappoint, and talked in length about THAT book as well, AND even circled it back to connect it to Coca-Cola!
The topic goes "historic" when Richey asks about Larry's favorite historical figure, and his answer might surprise you, but you have to listen to his reasoning, and you will understand! The topic then moves to what's next for Larry. A book about sugar cane companies in Louisiana, and there is a connection to a treat that is sung about in a sports song, and ALSO has yet another historical figure connection!
