E46 Taff Zangana, GNC Manager and owner, speaks to Aalia about being a single woman in business. Taff recalls working early in life and her place of authority as the boss’s daughter (10:15). As an adult, she quit corporate culture when she discovered an astonishing wage gap between herself and her male co-workers (13:00). She now works for herself, opening her own store, where she sells vitamins, oils, and health supplements (16:43). Taff’s is a philosophy of resilience. Her current store is a third effort, backed by the financial support of her father and piloted by the business school of YouTube (25:59). Taff and Aalia get philosophical, talking about the nature of relationships and how being unwilling to force getting married has hurt Taff in the business world (29:55).
