Not all yoga poses are the same, and not all of them will suit everyone.
Expecting to “achieve” all the postures and even forcing our bodies to “fit” in those shapes can hurt us, physically and emotionally.
Today, I use this analogy -comparing yoga postures to a dress- to understand that it is great to have reference points, but nobody will look and feel like somebody else!
