Before Duki would celebrate turning 24 by releasing a brand-new eight-song EP appropriately entitled: “24”. Before Duki would have 1.2 Million followers on Twitter, 5.1 Million followers on Instagram, and over 4 Million subscribers on YouTube at the time of this recording. Injecting a little Latin flair into trap rap while still only at the very young age of 24-years-old, Duki is an up-and-coming Latin American artist who’s changing the rules of the industry. He’s sold-out shows at Luna Park – one of Argentina’s most prominent venues -- and he managed to do it without even having released an album yet at that time! He also headlined Buenos Aires Trap, the biggest Latin trap festival, along with Bad Bunny. Combining elements of cumbia, dancehall, reggaetón, and trap, Latin Trap has strayed further from the path of its originally harsh North American roots to create a style of music that in many ways is easier on the ears – not to mention more commercial.
