Ca: Barcelona brillava sota el sol de l'últim dia d'estiu mentre el soroll de la gent omplia els carrers.
En: Barcelona shone under the sun of the last day of summer as the noise of people filled the streets.

Ca: Marta, Jordi i Laia es trobaven entre la multitud, emocionats per celebrar La tamborrada, un festival català tradicional.
En: Marta, Jordi and Laia were in the crowd, excited to celebrate La tamborrada, a traditional Catalan festival.

Ca: Enmig de l'eufòria, Marta va veure un stand amb tambors i no va poder resistir la temptació de tocar-ne un.

Ca: Va agafar el tambor i va començar a tocar amb força.

En: Laia tried to explain that they had not done it with bad intentions, but the officers said that they had to put an end to the drumming competition immediately.

Ca: Va ser una gran decepció per als tres amics.
En: It was a big disappointment for the three friends.

Ca: Després de ser advertits, Marta, Jordi i Laia es van adonar que el seu concurs de qui podia tocar més fort no era l'objectiu principal del festival.
En: After being warned, Marta, Jordi and Laia realized that their contest of who could play the loudest was not the main goal of the festival.

Ca: Van decidir que havien de fer alguna cosa per solucionar el problema.
