Joe and Brian are coming at you earlier this week with a pregame show unlike your usual ones, as they toss around the hypothetical questions of what happens depending on who plays quarterback this weekend for the Steelers.

The storyline comes off of the heels of a 16-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, where Steelers rookie QB Kenny Pickett was removed from the game and placed into concussion protocol. In his absence, veteran backup Mitchell Trubisky threw three interceptions, prompting head coach Mike Tomlin to turn to another familiar face in this week’s practice: Mason Rudolph.

However, with eight losses this season and only four games remaining on the schedule, does it matter who starts at the quarterback position? And if so, why?
