I was quite disappointed with the language used in the play. Perhaps the writer and producer grew up in a home where the children used profanity in front of and to their parents. This is a poor example of what takes place in an Afro-american home. Not all black families have roaches and gang violence. Not one thing was funny about this play. Neither was it enjoyable. All I can hear is how disappointed the people were. Another thing, the cost was 45.00 however the highest for other plays on your website is $35.00. Is it because the audience was 95% black that you chose to charge $10.00 more? The actors were very good but the moral to the story was all over the place. How does preparing a meal for the church have to do with a pregnant 17 year old, a married woman having an affair and a child getting killed. This play was a waste of money. The writer and director should be ashame. This is the kind of stuff some white folks love to see and hear. Writer and director you just set our culture back. What about a play that states what really goes on in a black kitchen. Like college scholarships and ways to make an honest living. This type of play with Church music would have never been tolerated in south county. My rating is an F
