Dija is not only one of the most sought after and knowledgable skin experts around, but she is the CEO of Westroom Aesthetics, which is a beauty destination that specialises in treatments for darker skin as well as the founder of the Black Skin Directory, a place that links women and men of colour with beauty experts who understand the needs of their skin.

Dija and I talk about gaps in beauty training that mean that many aestheticians don't have the knowledge and therefore the confidence to treat darker skin tones. We discuss why this is the case and how Dija is leading the way in helping to educate her fellow skin therapists.

We also discuss hyperpigmentation and how to treat it, supporting black-owned business in the right way and what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.
