✅December 3: Count your days under the wings of the Lord.

📖Psalms 90:1-12:
Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. You turn man to destruction, and say, “Return, O children of men.” For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night. You carry them away like a flood; they are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up: In the morning it flourishes and grows up; in the evening it is cut down and withers. For we have been consumed by Your anger, and by Your wrath we are terrified. You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your countenance. For all our days have passed away in Your wrath; we finish our years like a sigh. The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years, yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Who knows the power of Your anger? For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath. So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

📖Psalms 91:1-10:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

This is the day we begin to study the fourth part of the Psalms. This group or compilation of psalms are made up of different authors, some known and others we don't know about their authors. Most of these psalms are psalms that invite us to worship God and exalt the King of glory.
Psalm 90 is attributed to Moses. In the book of Exodus and Deuteronomy appear other songs of Moses, but in this chapter Moses wrote a reflection on the greatness and eternity of God contrasted with the ephemeral life of the human being.
This psalm is one of the best known and studied. It reminds us how short the days are on this earth, even though human beings have the notion that they will live for a long time, especially those who are young.
Young people think that reaching 70 or 80 years of age is something that will happen after a long time and they are not conscious of taking advantage of their days to learn, edify and build; because as they grow and fulfill more years, their time on earth is shortened.
That is why this psalm makes a great statement and it should become one of our favorite verses to pray to the Lord every day: "So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

Psalm 91 is very beautiful; a psalm that has become one of the most widely read and recited by readers and believers for generations around the world. It is a confession of trust in God in difficult times. Moments where fear, darkness, persecution or disease touch the life of the believer. Entire families have read this psalm asking for divine protection from the Almighty. Mothers use this verse to be able to transmit faith and security to their children before going to sleep.
Let's not read it as a spell or magic words. Rather, it must be understood with a clear conscience, believing that we can find refuge in the presence of God. Some just open the Bible with this psalm and leave it open for "evil spirits to read and go." I think evil spirits are not going to read this psalm!
What will drive away evil spirits is when you have a good relationship and communication with the Lord, and read this psalm with a loud voice and with great conviction so that the enemy hears your declaration of faith, that way he will flee!

Here we read many symbolisms of God: Refuge, shadow, castle, liberator, wings. Indications of the qualities of God defeating the darts, which represent the threats and attacks of the enemy, malicious people, diseases, and fears in general.

I invite you to reflect on the two lessons of these psalms: To consider our days and make the most of them, doing good, and not letting ourselves be intimidated by the enemy, knowing that we can take refuge under the shadow of God's wings.

✅Diciembre 3: Cuenta tus días bajo las alas del Señor.

📖Salmos 90:1‭-‬12 RVA2015:
Señor, tú has sido nuestro refugio de generación en generación. Antes que nacieran los montes y formaras la tierra y el mundo, desde la eternidad hasta la eternidad, tú eres Dios. Haces que el hombre vuelva al polvo. Dices: “¡Retornen, oh hijos del hombre!”. Pues mil años delante de tus ojos son como el día de ayer, que pasó. Son como una de las vigilias de la noche. Los arrasas; son como un sueño: En la mañana son como la hierba que crece; en la mañana brota y crece, y al atardecer se marchita y se seca. Porque con tu furor somos consumidos y con tu ira somos turbados. Has puesto nuestras maldades delante de ti; nuestros secretos están ante la luz de tu rostro. Pues todos nuestros días pasan a causa de tu ira; acabamos nuestros años como un suspiro. Los días de nuestra vida son setenta años; y en los más robustos, ochenta años. La mayor parte de ellos es duro trabajo y vanidad; pronto pasan, y volamos. ¿Quién conoce el poder de tu ira y de tu indignación, como debes ser temido? Enséñanos a contar nuestros días de tal manera que traigamos al corazón sabiduría.

📖Salmos 91:1‭-‬10 RVA2015:
El que habita al abrigo del Altísimo morará bajo la sombra del Todopoderoso. Diré yo al SEÑOR: “¡Refugio mío y castillo mío, mi Dios en quien confío!”. Porque él te librará de la trampa del cazador y de la peste destructora. Con sus plumas te cubrirá, y debajo de sus alas te refugiarás; escudo y defensa es su verdad. No tendrás temor de espanto nocturno ni de flecha que vuele de día ni de peste que ande en la oscuridad ni de plaga que en pleno día destruya. Caerán a tu lado mil y diez mil a tu mano derecha pero a ti no llegará. Ciertamente con tus ojos mirarás y verás la recompensa de los impíos. Porque al SEÑOR, que es mi refugio, al Altísimo, has puesto como tu morada, no te sobrevendrá mal ni la plaga se acercará a tu tienda.

Este es el día que comenzamos a estudiar la cuarta parte de los salmos. Este grupo o compilación de salmos se componen de diferentes autores, unos conocidos y otros no sabemos de sus autores. La mayoría de estos salmos son salmos que nos invitan a adorar a Dios y a exaltar al Rey de la gloria.
El salmo 90 es atribuido a Moisés. En el libro de Éxodo y Deuteronomio aparecen otros cánticos de Moisés, pero en este capítulo Moisés escribió una reflexión acerca de la grandeza y eternidad de Dios contrastada con la vida efímera del ser humano.
Este salmo es uno de los más conocidos y estudiados. Nos recuerda lo corto que son los días sobre esta tierra, aunque el ser humano tenga la noción de que va a vivir por muchos tiempo, especialmente los que son jóvenes.
El joven piensa que llegar a los 70 o 80 años de edad es algo que va suceder después de mucho tiempo y no es consciente en aprovechar sus días para aprender, edificar y construir; pues a medida que va creciendo y cumpliendo más años, su tiempo sobre la tierra se va acortando.
Es por eso que este salmo dice una gran declaración y que debería convertirse en uno de nuestros versos favoritos para orar todos los días al Señor: "Enséñanos a contar nuestros días de tal manera que traigamos al corazón sabiduría."

El salmo 91 es muy hermoso; un salmo que se ha convertido en uno de los más leídos y recitados por los lectores y creyentes por generaciones en todo el mundo. Es una confesión de confianza en Dios en momentos arduos. Momentos donde el temor, la oscuridad, la persecución o la enfermedad tocan la vida del creyente.
Familias enteras han leído este salmo pidiendo la protección divina del Todopoderoso. Madres usan este verso para poder transmitir fe y seguridad a sus hijos antes de dormir.
No lo leamos como un conjuro o unas palabras mágicas. Al contrario, debe ser comprendido con la conciencia clara, creyendo que nosotros podemos encontrar refugio en la presencia de Dios. Algunos solo abren la Biblia con este salmo y la dejan abierta para que "los espíritus malos lo lean y se vayan". ¡Creo que los espíritus malos no van a leer este salmo!
Lo que va a alejar a los malos espíritus es cuando tengas una buena relación y comunicación con el Señor, y leas este salmo a fuerte voz y con una gran convicción para que el enemigo escuche tu declaración de fe, de esa manera ¡él huirá!

Aquí leemos muchos simbolismos de Dios: Refugio, sombra, castillo, libertador, alas. Indicaciones de las cualidades de Dios venciendo los dardos, que representan las amenazas y ataques del enemigo, de personas malintencionadas, de enfermedades, y de temores en general.

Reflexionemos sobre las dos lecciones de estos salmos: A que consideremos nuestros días y los aprovechemos al máximo, haciendo el bien, y que no nos dejemos amedrentar por el enemigo, sabiendo que podemos refugiarnos bajo la sombra de las alas de Dios.
