Jim Sarka explores issues of leadership, designing inclusive practices, and navigating intergenerational workplaces as part of Johnson & Johnson’s expansive DEI efforts. Jim describes the evolution of J&J’s Intergenerational Employee Resource Group (ERG), called GenerationNow, which addresses the topic of ageism professional settings, and the successful management of different generations within J&J’s workforce. In addition, Jim shares keen insights on the critical importance of access to healthcare; differential levels of access for those who fall along different parts of the socio-economic spectrum; and the innovations that J&J established to tackle these crucial challenges.
