Corpus Christi is a coastal city in the South Texas, and the county seat and largest city of Nueces County. The city's name literally means, body of Christ in Latin, in reference to the Christian sacrament of Holy Communion. And while Corpus Christi has tons of history, its one roadside oddity, that has kept people curious and wondering of its origins...a giant red demon statue, resembling the devil, that guards a recycling plant on Leopard Street.
