First off, the positive, I listen to most of your shows and find them informative and mostly correct - so thanks for that. My issue with this show, and most conservative podcasts on this topic for that matter, is this - you simply don’t understand your own laws and procedures in regards to Trump and HIS documents and the presidential records act. I’m a Canadian and the first thing I did was get an understanding on what this act actually states and how it applies to the documents Trump holds - it’s clear that you and many others simply haven’t done that, I suggest you consult the great lawyer Robert Barnes if you don’t understand before talking about this subject (and Trump should hire Barnes to represent him in this matter). Simply put…. Trumps presidential records belong to Trump and only Trump, and most everything Trump hold in his possession are duplicates or have been duplicated (I’d say “ALL” but since I don’t actually have access to them, I can’t say it with 100% certainty - but I’m almost certain). All document that have restricted access (top secret or classified for example) applies to everyone excluding Trump (and excluding only Trump, since I assume all documents were taken when he was the POTUS) - the classification of these documents is made in the name of Trump - he is KING here, if he takes them and puts them in an insecure place, then without him even declaring it, it’s consider “unclassified” or otherwise OK for him to place the document there. If he pulls a document out and hands it to me (a foreign citizen I might add) for example, it’s perfectly OK since even if he thought it in his mind and didn’t say a word to anyone, it’s unclassified as long as he was POTUS when he took that document. This is paramount to to saying that you two both own “Chicks on the Right” (I’m assuming you do)…. you hire me, and then I say to you that you can’t take the transcripts of one of your shows home, or show it to anyone…. What right do I have to say that…. All my powers in that regard are derived from you and the fact that you hired me….. Trump has the absolute power here regarding his documents, he was POTUS at the time those documents were taken, and all the powers of everyone trying to say otherwise were derived from his - Hilary didn’t have this when she took documents and neither did Joe Biden when he took his documents (Joe has it now…. And if Trump got a new document now - he would be bound by Biden’s authority, but that’s not the case here). One finally point - it simply doesn’t matter what Trump said or didn’t say on that recording…. He was KING when he took those documents and therefore he is king over them. Bottomline everyone: learn before you talk about something you don’t know about (like I did).
