Nl: De regen tikte hard op de ramen van Sophie's kleine appartement in Amsterdam.
En: The rain tapped hard on the windows of Sophie's small apartment in Amsterdam.

Nl: Ze keek bezorgd naar buiten.
En: She looked worriedly outside.

Nl: Sophie, Lars en Emma hadden bedacht om samen te gaan fietsen.
En: Sophie, Lars, and Emma had planned to go cycling together.

Nl: Maar nu was er een storm.
En: But now there was a storm.

Nl: Lars en Emma stonden voor de deur.
