This episode we bring you another WFTB Creator Spotlight. Chris and Clay are joined by Nicole Goux and Dave Baker who are the creators of the new Dark Horse graphic novel, “Everyone is Tulip”. Nicole is an illustrator and cartoonist from Los Angeles. She's the artist of DC's "Shadow of the Batgirl" and co-creator of "Fuck Off Squad" at Silver Sprocket Bicycle Club. She has been published by DC, Dark Horse, IDW, LionForge, and has self-published various works. Her next upcoming work with Dave is the YA graphic novel "Forest Hills Bootleg Society" debuting at Simon and Schuster in 2022. Her work often explores the themes of coming of age, interpersonal drama, and learning how to be a human. Dave is a writer and illustrator based in Los Angeles. His most recent works, "Action Hospital", "Fuck Off Squad", "Night Hunters", and "Star Trek Voyager: Seven's Reckoning" have been well received by comic book readers. He also co-wrote the feature film, "Alien Warfare" now streaming on Netflix. He has also written for 20th Century Fox, Universal, and Cartoon Network. Chris and Clay talk to Nicole and Dave about their careers, deep diving into their creator owned works, and discussing the inspiration behind their newest collaboration, “Everyone is Tulip”.
